Ant and Dec sign new deal with ITV
Ant and Dec have signed a new three-year deal to continue hosting their hit shows for ITV .
It means they will continue to host further series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, as well as Britain's Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway.
The duo - Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly - will have had an exclusive deal with the channel for 16 years by the time their new deal expires.
Their current deal, due to run out in a matter of days, was for just two years and was said to be worth around £5 million each for the pair. It is thought the new deal will bring in a similar sum.
Peter Fincham, ITV's director of television, said: "Ant and Dec are consummate entertainers. Their talent is such that they make it look effortless, and their ability to connect with our audience is unrivalled. Our creative relationship with them is a strong one, and I'm delighted we are extending it."
They joined ITV in 1998, hosting Saturday morning shows SM:tv Live and CD:UK, and signed their exclusive deal two years later. They have been named best entertainment presenters for 12 consecutive years at the National Television Awards.
A statement from the duo said: " We are thrilled to be extending our relationship with ITV for a further three years. After 15 years at the network, we are still excited about continuing to make great shows for a great channel."
