Ariana's screaming injury
Ariana Grande has revealed how she damaged her vocal cords, but assures fans she’s “better” now.
Yesterday TMZ reported the 20-year-old singer had been warned to rest her voice by doctors after “frying” her vocal cords.
The starlet has now cleared up how the injury came about, but assures fans they have nothing to worry about.
“For those of u asking about my voice I screamed too much at my party totally irresponsible but it's better now, thanks for the well wishes (sic),” she posted on Twitter.
It’s no wonder Ariana's feeling run down, as the singer’s schedule has been packed full recently.
As well as promoting her album Yours Truly, she recorded track Almost Is Never Enough with The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes, which features in movie The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
Luckily she isn’t letting the injury get her down.
“omg so apparently I'm the 15th solo female artist ever to have their 1st album go # 1 @billboard thank u guys so much for making it happen (sic),” she tweeted to her followers.
Nathan experienced a similar situation earlier this year, when he was forced to take a temporary hiatus from The Wanted after suffering a problem with his vocal cords.
Luckily an operation sorted the issue out and he is now back with the band.
Ariana and Nathan have been romantically linked, but the pretty brunette put the rumours to rest when asked by Access Hollywood.
“No, no - we’re not dating,” she said.
“He’s the sweetest. He’s amazing. I have to say, he’s one of the most talented vocalists I’ve ever heard in my life. And live, all the time, he’s like, spot on.”
