The X Factor's James Arthur has revealed that his only dream is to make it to the final of the show.
The 24-year-old singer is the bookies' third favourite to be crowned champion of the ITV1 competition, behind Jahmene Douglas and Ella Henderson, but admitted on the red carpet of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, that he doesn't think about being one of the favourites on the show.
"I just want to be in the final and be in with a shot. I'm just going to keep doing my best every week. I'm going to try my hardest to keep on top of the performances," he said.
James - who teased that he will be doing "a romantic love song-type performance" this weekend - credited his mentor Nicole Scherzinger for keeping his spirits up.
"Nicole is forever giving me great advice - she's amazing. She's a real muso, she knows her stuff so she's fascinating to speak to," he said.
"The best thing she has said is that I'm brilliant, so I should believe in myself. But she says that in a half an hour analogy, which is just the type of thing she does. But it's brilliant."
