Amanda Holden and The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright sparkled at the first day of Royal Ascot - and made sure they obeyed the strict clothing guidelines.
Britain's Got Talent star Amanda, a regular at the prestigious event, wore a floral cream Azagury dress and DeDe Valentine hat and joked with Twitter followers: "Anyone got any tips for bets?!!"
Lydia also kept to the Royal Ascot style rules - which include no strapless, off-the-shoulder, halter-neck or spaghetti-strapped dresses, and no midriffs on show - in a red Hybrid dress and a Beth Hirst headpiece in red, white and blue.
She said: "It's my first time at Ascot so I'm very excited. We're in an amazing box. I'm going to be putting some money on but I've not got a clue about gambling - I'm going to tell my mum to stop me at £200."
Veteran funnyman Russ Abbot, who also attended, said: "It's a great day out. It's a lovely social occasion - though not necessarily a winning occasion! The fact it's a Jubilee year makes it extra special."
About 300,000 people are expected to attend Royal Ascot - now in its 301st year - consuming some 170,000 bottles of champagne, 10,000 lobsters, 5,000 oysters and 18,000 punnets of strawberries.
