Ashley Olsen is reportedly still madly in love with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bartha.
The 26-year-old actress and fashion designer and the 34-year-old actor split in early 2011 after dating for over two years.
The former couple were rumoured to be engaged before their breakup.
Ashley is said to be hankering for romance, especially since her twin sister Mary-Kate has such a strong relationship with French businessman boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy currently.
"She's sick of playing the third wheel now that Mary-Kate is so serious with Olivier," a source told Star magazine.
Ashley apparently regrets calling it quits with Justin.
Despite their differences, the star believes that they are meant for each other.
"She's convinced that Justin is the love of her life," the source explained.
Ashley is said to be actively begging Justin to take her back.
She won't back down from her position.
"He was planning to propose to her, so she really broke his heart when she dumped him," the source said.
"But she's sure that he's the man for her-and she doesn't give up easily."
