Aubrey Plaza: I dream about Depp

Aubrey Plaza created an identity as a real-estate agent in school and dressed in "neon fuchsia power skirt suits".

The actress has landed a part alongside the handsome star in 2015 action-comedy Mortdecai. She says her "entire role" consists of asking the Pirates of the Caribbean actor questions, which she definitely didn't mind.

"I play a Homeland Security Agent and sit across the table and interrogate him," she told the British edition of Marie Claire.

"I do that in my dreams already, so to do it for real was a dream come true!"

The 30-year-old star is keeping busy - she also appears in TV show Parks and Recreation and her boyfriend Jeff Baena's comedy-horror film Life After Beth.

Acting has always been Aubrey's dream and she loved playing make-believe at school.

"I used to come up with lots of different personas," she laughed.

"I went to an all-girls' school where we had to wear a uniform, but once a month you could wear whatever you wanted, which was a big deal.

"I created this character named Beverly Calpin who was a real-estate agent. I would wear my mom's neon fuchsia power skirt suits and briefcases from the '80s and try to sell real estate to my teachers in the cafeteria."

The brunette star began her showbiz career with an internship in Saturday Night Live's design department. At the time, Amy Poehler was on the show and Aubrey can't believe she's working alongside the actress on Parks and Recreation now.

"I would steal the scripts, take them home to read and try to write my own sketches," she recalled.
