Avril Lavigne reportedly celebrated her wedding over the weekend but has yet to officially tie the knot.

The Here's To Never Growing Up singer had a "wedding party" in Cannes on June 29, according to Us Weekly.

Avril, 28, is marrying Nickelback's Chad Kroeger, 38, and rumours were sparked that the wedding had gone ahead over the weekend because of a tweet sent by Mike Heller, CEO of Talent Resources, who manage her.

Sources told Us Weekly that the Canadian couple are "technically not married yet" and that Mike "never tweeted the wedding happened, just said he was on his way and excited for his friend".

It's thought they have picked Monday July 1 to legally wed as it is Canada Day.

The happy couple, who are apparently having an intimate ceremony just for close family and friends, have written a song together to mark their special day, which they will release after the wedding.

Avril said recently: "I've been doing [the wedding planning], I'm the girl. I'm the one who has the crazy vision and he's letting me be me. It's a lot and I just want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time.

"I want all the guests who come to have this once in a lifetime experience and I want everyone to say 'Wow!' and for it to be special for everyone, not just us."

Sagittarius:

Expressing your creative side is strongly advised. Take this opportunity to write, paint or play music. Relatives may not appreciate your work, but that doesn't matter. The important thing is to satisfy your own taste. People who are daring and experimental will appreciate your efforts. Don't be surprised if you're given a chance to showcase your work in a magazine, boutique or gallery. Fame and acclaim can be yours, so long as you're willing to follow your instincts.More
