Banksy released a "television advert" for his Dismaland theme park as tickets for the attraction finally went on sale online.

The clip, lasting two minutes and six seconds, was posted on the elusive artist's website shortly after the Dismaland ticket page went live.

Thousands of fans first crashed the site on Friday - the day before the park opened to the public - as they attempted to reserve the £3 tickets.

Organisers were forced to deny the website was a hoax yesterday when it crashed for a second time as tickets were due to become available.

All of the tickets had sold out after four hours of the site going live, following a frenzy of bookings for the 19 allocated sessions.

Tickets for the Weston-super-Mare attraction, which can hold 4,000 people, are being released for seven days at a time.
