Beckham contained movie emotions
David Beckham pulled himself together while watching his "emotional" film.
The former soccer player has been promoting the film which tells the story of how he and fellow teammates found fame.
While it was moving to revisit the past, David made sure to retain his manliness while watching the finished product.
"It was emotional, but there weren't any tears," he laughed to the British edition of OK! magazine.
"I think I'd get quite a bit of stick if I started crying in front of my old teammates!"
His wife Victoria has successfully made the transition from popstar to designer and is now one of the most famous faces in the fashion industry.
David doesn't have any plans to hit the big-screen again.
"No, no I'm not very good at acting so maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to go into that kind of industry," he smiled.
"But I enjoyed doing this because this is part of our history, our teenage years, so it's really special to us."
Victoria and David might be A-listers now, but they both grew up in very normal British families.
David, 38, revealed what his life might look like had he not gone into soccer and then modelling.
"Well, when I was growing up I was very close to my dad," he explained.
"I spent a lot of time with him and he worked as a gas fitter. So I probably would have gone down the same road as him and been a gas fitter."
