David Beckham has revealed there is already pressure on his children to follow in the footsteps of their sports star dad.
The footballer - who is father to sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, and 12-month-old daughter Harper with Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer wife Victoria - told Esquire magazine people expect his sons to be football champions like him.
David said: "There's a lot of pressure on them. They go for try-outs and people automatically think David Beckham's son is going to bend the ball in the top corner at the age of six."
But he added: "They're very confident kids. They take it in their stride."
The 37-year-old also revealed that while he and wife Victoria may appear to be constantly flying around the world for their work, the secret to his successful 13-year-marriage is spending regular quality time together.
David said: "As much as we work hard and we love to spend time with our kids, that's our main priority. We make sure we go out for dinner once a week."
