Beckhams 'buy Versace mansion'

Victoria and David Beckham have reportedly bought murdered designer Gianni Versace's Miami mansion.

The couple splashed out £36 million on the plush property, reported the Daily Mirror.

Fashion guru Versace bought Casa Casuarina in 1992 and it was there that he was shot dead by a serial killer in 1997.

Posh and Becks had been looking for a base in Miami after the footballer unveiled his plans for a new Major League Soccer club there, and last month it was reported that they were interested in a lavish home owned by actor Matt Damon.

The couple's new pad has plenty of room for their four children, as it is 23,000 square feet and boasts 10 bedrooms. It also includes an observatory and a gold-lined swimming pool.

Former Spice Girl Victoria, 39, is a close friend of Versace's designer sister, Donatella.
