Beckhams consider Paris move

David Beckham

may be considering a move to Paris.

The British soccer star has been linked to clubs around the world since announcing on Monday that he would be leaving Los Angeles Galaxy in December.

The 37-year-old is looking for a final challenge in his playing career and a contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is rumoured to be the favourite. It has been claimed the French club are poised to make a lucrative offer to secure the star.

Paris seems like a logical move as it would boost Victoria's fashion design aspirations.

However, other options could be equally attractive for the couple.

The stars were recently linked with a move to New York City, which would also offer a cutting edge fashion scene to please Victoria.

The Beckhams also have a young family to consider, and France is closer to their extended family in Britain which could sway their decision.

Teams based in Russia, Australia, Brazil and China are also believed to have made bids for the handsome star player.

It is understood that David will only accept an offer which would see him play regular first-team soccer.

The former England captain intends to use the time between now and the end of his contract in mid-December with Galaxy to weigh up his options.

Paris Saint-Germain offered David a multi-million pound contract to move to their club in November last year but he opted not to accept the offer because of family reasons.

David has said about his decision to leave Los Angeles that he wishes to "experience one last challenge before the end of [his] playing career".
