Beckhams headed for Cotswolds?

The Beckhams are reportedly looking for a country retreat

The Beckhams are thought to be house hunting in the Cotswolds for a country retreat.

David and Victoria are set to move to London and are selling Beckingham Palace in Hertfordshire, but according to the Sunday People they're also looking for a country pile for the weekends.

The family are thought to be looking for a country home in the Cotswolds, which is home to a host of celebrities including Kate Moss, Lily Allen and Liz Hurley, as well as the famous Chipping Norton set David Cameron, Alex James and Jeremy Clarkson.

It's believed David has taken up going for countryside strolls and that the couple are worried about the attention their children Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and Harper, two, will get in London and want a quiet place for them to relax.

As well as the two new UK homes, the Beckhams still own their Los Angeles mansion and a property in Provence, both for holidays.

David was recently seen playing dad on the football pitch, too, when he stopped by his Los Angeles kids' soccer camp the David Beckham Academy and rushed to comfort a little girl who fell over and began to cry.

The dad of four picked her up and comforted her on his knee before she recovered enough to give him a high five.
