David Beckham has apparently turned down a move to football team Paris Saint Germain so his family can remain in Los Angeles.
The father-of-four - who plays for LA Galaxy and lives in Los Angeles with his four children and wife Victoria Beckham - reportedly made the decision because he didn't want to disrupt his family.
Leonardo, director of Paris Saint Germain, told France's L'Equipe newspaper: "It's over. It's a shame. But the welfare of his family in Los Angeles, the wish not to change everything in his life, weighed heavily.
"He will not come to PSG."
PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi confirmed Leonardo's comments, saying: "David Beckham is in Los Angeles and will stay there. He will not come, it's clear."
David, 36, and his former Spice Girl wife Victoria moved to LA in 2007 and his sons Romeo, Cruz and Brooklyn are all at school in the city.
David has moved to Milan twice since then, on short-term loans to the Italian city's team, which was convenient for his fashion designer wife.
The couple - who last year welcomed daughter Harper to their family - are currently in the UK on a Christmas break.
