Becks spend £100k on grannies

David and Victoria Beckham rewarded their mothers with two luxury vehicles for babysitting duties.

Retired soccer player David, 38, and fashion designer Victoria, 39, relocated their family from Los Angeles to their native UK in January.

The couple have reportedly spent over £100,000 on two sporty Audi A4 cars to thank their moms for helping out with their four children.

“Jackie and Sandra are really touched with their presents,” a source told British newspaper The Sunday People. “They couldn’t thank them enough. They are over the moon that David and Victoria are back in the UK and both women love seeing more of their grandchildren.”

The power couple’s joint fortune is estimated to be worth £130 million and they are supposedly cautious about how they spend their money.

However they thought purchasing Audis for their moms was a necessary expense.

“David and Victoria aren’t flash with money because they know the value of it, but they wanted to show their enormous gratitude for the help their moms have been since they returned to England,” the insider explained.

“Managing their careers and four children is not easy at all, so they feel so lucky that their parents have stepped in to ease the load.”

Victoria has spoken previously about how difficult it is to run a business and care for her kids at the same time.

“It’s difficult combining working, having the children and having a husband who travels,” she revealed at the Vogue Festival in London earlier this year.

“I do have a bit of help. I can’t do it all myself.”

David and Victoria are parents to sons Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and two-year-old daughter Harper.
