Belfast babes make FHM Honeys list

Mary Beth Fennell

A pair of Northern Ireland stunners have made it to the Top 10 of FHM’s annual beauty contest.

The tasty two-some beat off more than 14,000 hopefuls from across the UK to make the final of the lads’ mag’s Holiday Honeys competition.

Belfast babes Mary-Beth Fennell and Katie Larmour are now in the running to land a £10,000 prize and modelling contract.

But it wasn’t all plain sailing for law graduate Mary-Beth, who nearly didn’t make the final after she was involved in a car smash.

The 23-year-old legal eagle and her trainee accountant boyfriend Paddy were in a horrific accident outside Ballymena, Co Antrim at the end of March — but luckily escaped with barely a scratch.

Mary-Beth said: “It was dark and raining so hard that Paddy

slid and crashed into a car in front of us. Paddy’s car was a write-off, but luckily none of us were hurt.”

The north Belfast babe’s rival Katie Larmour is no stranger to the limelight as she’s worked as a local model and TV presenter for years.

Katie, who used to date Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Meyers, also landed a role as a groupie in the upcoming U2 movie Killing Bono filmed earlier this year.

The 26-year-old admitted that her competitors in the Top 10 were “unfortunately stunning”.

But on the FHM competition site Katie says she deserves to win because she is “fun, outgoing, adventurous and a little bit mischievous”. She adds: “A friend once described me as a chocolate cake because I’m sweet, delicious, scrummy and will leave you wanting more.”

Nobody expects perfection, especially at this stage of the game. The more gentle you are with yourself, the easier it will be to master this role.
