Ben Affleck can't stop "mouthing lines" while directing.
The actor-and-director admits there are some aspects of being behind the camera he needs to improve. Ben revealed his annoying habit at a premiere of Argo at The Peggy Siegal Company in New York on Wednesday.
"[It] is a rather unfortunate tendency," Ben told the New York Post. "I sometimes will slightly lip-move along with the lines of the actors. The first time I did that was on The Town. During one of Jeremy Renner's close-ups, he was like, 'Can I talk to you for a second? You're mouthing my lines.' It was like, 'OK, I'll stop doing that.' Then Blake [Lively] said I did it to her… It's a problem, and I'm working on it."
The star might need to continue working on this area. He helmed new movie Argo which stars Bryan Cranston, who admitted he also got distracted by Ben.
"[In a scene] at the end, I could see [Ben] mouthing my lines. I went, 'You are doing the thing.' And he went 'Oh, [bleep]. Sorry,'" Bryan joked. "He gets so into [it] that he mouths."
