Ben Affleck: I have no sexy face

Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck claims he lost his "sexy face" somewhere "along the line".

The 40-year-old actor has taken part in a photoshoot for the March edition of Vanity Fair magazine, which is its Hollywood Issue.

The edition celebrates the very best talent in Hollywood today, with photographer Bruce Weber shooting cover star Ben in brooding black and white.

The Argo star revealed that as he gets older he doesn't put as much effort into striking seductive poses and adopts a more blasé attitude.

"I don't actually have a sexy face," Ben laughed. "I lost that somewhere along the line. Now I'm like [looks blankly at screen], 'OK. Here's my picture.' You know."

Ben joked he managed to create a smouldering pose thanks to his acting skills.

The heartthrob decided to be inquisitive while posing, which he thinks helped him greatly.

"I'm kind of looking off into the distance like I'm saying, 'Hey, what's over there?' Then I'm like, 'Hey, I'm kind of sexy, what's that over in the distance?' That sort of vibe," Ben explained in a behind-the-scenes video posted on the publication's website.

Halle Berry is also featured in the 19th Hollywood Portfolio of stars. She also had a sexy themed shoot with Bruce and got into the mood by listening to sultry tunes.

"It was a cool vibe [on the set of my photo shoot with Bruce Weber]. He put on some French music, sensing I'm in that kind of mood right now," Halle revealed to Vanity Fair. "Then he put on some more great sensual and sexy music... and well, it certainly got my juices flowing!"

You never do anything in moderation. Attend every fun party, accept every juicy offer and try all the delectable treats spread before you. Avoid unpleasant people and activities like the plague. This should be a time of enjoyment. Leave your list of chores at home. You can always attend to these jobs at another time. If you have a chance to show your creative work to a publisher, manager or agent, go ahead. This is also a great opportunity to go on job interviews, auditions and first dates.More
