Benson ‘lands restraining order’
Ashley Benson has reportedly obtained a restraining order against an ex-guard on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles.
The Pretty Little Liars star recently filed for a temporary restraining order against James Gorton, Jr, who was once employed as a guard on the Warner Bros. studio lot in Los Angeles where her hit US show is filmed, according to TMZ.
The website reports Ashley, 24, was granted the order on Wednesday, after he allegedly told unnamed people he had “sexual feelings” for her.
Sources on the Warner Bros. lot told the outlet the accused claimed “he felt a special connection” to Ashley after she looked at him one day and believed she was “silently communicating messages”.
Apparently James was fired after the actress expressed she was uncomfortable and feared he might try to find her at her home.
He is now ordered to remain at least 100 yards away from the star, according to court documents obtained by the outlet.
A spokesperson for Ashley had not commented on the report at press time.
The actress, best known for her role as Hanna Marin on the US TV series, admitted just last month she still can't get her head around all the attention she’s been receiving recently.
"I don’t get people asking me if I’m famous. But now that Pretty Little Liars has been on for five years, people do notice me more," she told Complex magazine. "I like meeting different people, which is not a problem. But it’s super weird. If somebody asks me to take a picture, I want to run and hide. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it."
