Bethenny Frankel admits that she and her husband Jason Hoppy "hit rock bottom".
The 41-year-old reality star turned TV host was rumoured to be considering divorcing Jason a few months ago.
Bethenny is happy to report that her relationship is back on track, although she confesses that the strain was nearly intolerable for a while.
"We've been scared," she told People magazine. "The second year of marriage was not easy. We hit bottom, [but] we came out the other side.
"I think we have what it takes to make it work. I don't have a backup plan. It's not like shopping for shoes and getting a new pair. That's not what it's about."
Bethenny's new eponymous talk show has just wrapped filming and she and the family have moved from Los Angeles back to their native New York City.
The star is not interested in filming reality TV anymore.
"[Being a talk show host is] the right thing for me - and for us," she shared. "I love talking to women about what's going on with them.
"I'm done with putting my personal life and family on reality television. I went all the way, and I think it may be enough. Enough about me.
"I'm in lockdown. I'm finally ready to become a housewife."
