Beyonce graces latest Vogue cover

Beyonce spoke to Vogue about a documentary to be shown on US TV (Invision/AP)

Beyonce has said the making of her upcoming documentary Life Is But A Dream was a therapeutic process.

She told the March issue of US Vogue that the "movie healed me in so many ways" and thinking about it makes her "want to cry".

The film addresses topics that the notoriously private singer normally avoids in public.

It chronicles her 2011 decision to drop her father Matthew Knowles as her manager, her miscarriage and even the rumours that she was faking her pregnancy with daughter Blue Ivy by using a surrogate.

"That was very odd," says the singer.

The documentary airs in the US on February 16 on HBO.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
