Beyonce lands Time 100 front cover

Beyonce is on the cover of Time magazine's Most Influential People edition

Beyonce has landed the cover of Time magazine's annual Most Influential People edition.

The singer is pictured in a skimpy white outfit and sheer shirt on the cover of the magazine's Time 100 edition, which honours the world's 100 most influential people.

Beyonce, 32, is one of several big names from the entertainment world who have made it into this year's list, alongside Miley Cyrus, Robert Redford, Amy Adams, Matthew McConaughey and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Each honouree is profiled in a piece written by another powerful figure.

Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg paid tribute to Beyonce, writing: "Beyonce doesn't just sit at the table. She builds a better one."

She went on: "In the past year, Beyonce has sold out the Mrs Carter Show World Tour while being a full-time mother. Her secret: hard work, honesty and authenticity. And her answer to the question, 'What would you do if you weren't afraid?' appears to be 'Watch me. I'm about to do it.' Then she adds, 'You can, too'."

Several business people, politicians and cultural leaders have also made the list, including Hillary Clinton and Pope Francis.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Virgo:

A close relationship could reach a rocky patch. Resist the urge to emotionally withdraw from your loved one. Be willing to address the issues that have been pulling you apart. You could hear some painful things about your behaviour. Instead of getting defensive, be open to changing for the sake of your relationship. Think back to a time when someone you loved worked hard to gain your affection and approval. Pattern your attitude after theirs. Being flexible is more important than being right.More
