BGT axe would 'disappoint' Dixon
Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon said she would be "disappointed" if Simon Cowell shuffles his pack and installs new celebrity panellists for next year's show.
Pop star and dancer Dixon, 36, said she is prepared for the talent show supremo to wield the axe following a successful few years with fellow judges Amanda Holden and David Walliams.
She told the Sunday Express's S magazine: "Truthfully, there would be an element of me that would be disappointed, but I'm a realist and I like to think I live in the real world.
"The nature of these shows is that sometimes they change. That's life."
The former Mis-Teeq singer from Hertfordshire has just embarked on her latest stint as a BGT judge, with the audition episodes currently appearing on ITV, having previously wowed audiences herself by winning 2007's Strictly Come Dancing. A chart-topping career as a solo recording artist followed before taking on the judge's role in BGT.
She said: "We've had four fantastic years together (on BGT). It's been a success, but if they decide to change it up next year, that's fine.
"You can't get into the entertainment world and think that things don't change. Everything changes - that's life."
