Bieber apologises for Lohan diss

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has apologised for dissing Lindsay Lohan during a defensive Instagram rant he posted then later deleted Thursday.

The 19-year-old pop star has been steeped in a series of scandals throughout the month of March.

He was slammed after appearing late on stage one night, collapsed during another performance and got into a foul-mouthed argument with a photographer.

Following his cancellation of a Portugal concert this week, it was widely speculated that he could spiral out of control, much like fellow celebrity Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay has been mired in legal problems for years, is in extreme tax debt and currently faces jail time.

Justin refuted claims that he and Lindsay’s paths are similar by dissing the troubled actress on his Instagram account.

“i'm growing up finding myself while having people watch me and criticise me everyday i think im doing pretty damn good,” he posted.

“And to those comparing me to Lindsey Lohan look at her 2012 tax statements (sic)."

He deleted the Lindsay portion of his post within ten minutes.

Justin has apologised for including the actress in his tirade.

"My post was only up for a few minutes but I realised right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say,” he told TMZ.

"I immediately deleted it and rewrote it so it would show what I was really feeling and those words are up now."
