Bieber names Sheen most influential
Justin Bieber has hailed Charlie Sheen as the most influential person in the world at the moment.
The troubled star may have lost his job as the star of Two And A Half Men, be battling for custody of his children and have drug and alcohol problems, but the 17-year-old pop star, who rose to fame through YouTube, is impressed by his internet profile.
Justin was asked by Time magazine who he thought was the most influential person in the would and said: "[It] has got to be Charlie Sheen. He's got a million followers in one day on Twitter. And . . . I've never seen that happen before. Plus, he's got tiger blood, and he's always winning."
But Charlie didn't make the magazine's list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, which saw Susan Boyle voted third Most Influential Person in the World by readers.
Those who did will be honoured at the Time 100 Gala on Tuesday, where Sting and Bruno Mars are due to perform for guests including Mark Wahlberg and Amy Poehler.
Charlie, 45, currently has just over three and half million followers on Twitter, Justin has almost nine million.
The Platoon star is proving popular with young people as 18-year-old singer and actress Miley Cyrus recently revealed she had rejoined Twitter, 17 months after quitting the social networking site, so she could follow Charlie Sheen's Torpedo of Truth tweets.
