Justin Bieber will attend Sunday's American Music Awards solo, according to reports.
The Baby hitmaker is believed to be a single man after Selena Gomez called time on their two-year relationship earlier this month.
According to RadarOnline, Justin has been desperate to reconcile and put on a united display at the fan-voted prize-giving. But Selena has opted not to attend at all.
News of the stag appearance follows a week of speculation about the couple's status.
On Friday night, the pair were finally seen together at a Los Angeles restaurant but cut the meal short after an argument, it was claimed.
The singers drove separately to Selena's home where Justin was seen locked outside the gates.
He was eventually allowed inside, and his white Ferrari remained parked at the home until the next morning.
According to Radar, Justin has not given up on convincing Selena to be on his arm on Sunday evening.
"(He) is still hoping he can change Selena's mind before the show starts," according to the website.
The couple was a hit on the red carpet at last year's ceremony.
This year, Justin is nominated for Artist of the Year, Favourite Album and Favourite Male Artist in the pop/rock category. He is also scheduled to perform and to present.
