Bill Rancic and his wife Giuliana are elated for how their life will transform with their new baby in tow.
The couple are awaiting the arrival of their first child via surrogacy, with the boy due in a couple of weeks.
Bill and Giuliana can't wait to welcome their son.
"I think it is going to slow us down in a good way," Bill told the American edition of OK! magazine. "I think we're ready for it."
Giuliana recently won her battle with breast cancer. Bill credits the unearthing of the disease to their desire to have a child.
"Had we not had the struggles or some of the obstacles that we had, Giuliana wouldn't have discovered the breast cancer," he explained.
"We found [a doctor] up in Colorado who made it mandatory for her to get a mammogram and had he not done that, she would have waited until she was in her forties. I always joke with Giuliana that this little baby will have saved her life. This little guy is going to be pretty special."
