Billie Faiers: 'I'd love a spin-off of Sam's Mummy Diaries!'
Billie, whose pregnancy and birth of son Arthur formed a major storyline on season two of The Mummy Diaries, has revealed she's keen to land a similar spin-off.
Billie Faiers wants to follow in sister Sam's footsteps by having her own The Mummy Diaries spin-off.
The Essex siblings first found fame on reality series The Only Way Is Essex before leaving the show to forge solo careers. Sam has since enjoyed success with ITVBe series The Baby Diaries, followed by The Mummy Diaries, which followed her and boyfriend Paul Knightley welcoming son Paul and navigating through the world of parenthood.
Now Billie, whose pregnancy and birth of son Arthur formed a major storyline on season two of The Mummy Diaries, has revealed she's keen to land a similar show.
"I'd love to have a spin-off," Billie told the Daily Mail Online. "It would show the next step with me. And I'd like it how The Mummy Diaries is now. Fly-on-the-wall is best when you've got children."
Billie is mother to Nelly, two, and Arthur, who made his big entrance in March (17). She has yet to wed fiance Greg Shepherd, who proposed in the Maldives in 2014, though she did open up about her plans for the nuptials during the interview.
"The next thing for us is the wedding," she smiled. "If we don't do it in the next two years, we'll have more kids and that will make it even harder.
"Plus I'm starting to feel left out in my family, I'm the only one that's not got the Shepherd name!"
Billie is hoping to have the wedding abroad, either next year or early in 2019, with only immediate family attending. She hasn't ruled out having the ceremony filmed for a TV show, but wouldn't want that to be the focus of her big day.
"I'd want it to be two people with cameras. That's it. Not a big crew. Two people would work," she mused.
