Blake Lively still needs to get used to being someone's food source.

The stunning blonde and her husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child, a daughter called James, in December last year.

While motherhood seems to suit her, there are some things the 27-year-old still needs to get her head around.

"Since becoming a mother, I feel like a steak on legs," she laughed to German magazine Joy. "For the little one I'm just a food source; that takes some getting used to. But Ryan and I are at our most helpless when she won't stop crying. Luckily I can always ask my mother for advice."

Blake relies on her family for support, joking that the best thing about being so close to them is that she always has a babysitter on hand. It gives her the opportunity to pursue her hobbies, which include cooking, baking and exploring other cultures.

It might seem there's nothing she can't turn her hand to, but the actress insists there are some things she'd still like to master.

"My biggest goals are to finally learn how to speak French," she revealed. "And I'd really love to study at the Harvard Business School. These are projects I'll tackle when I finally get the time."

Blake did take a little time off when Gossip Girl, in which she played rich kid Serena van der Woodsen, came to an end in 2012. She reasons that after spending ten months of every year for five years in front of the camera, she deserved some time out.
