Bobby Brown is "grateful" after becoming a father for the seventh time when wife Alicia Etheredge gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday (21Jul16).
Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Etheredge welcomed a baby daughter on Thursday (21Jul16).
The My Prerogative singer confirmed the happy news to Entertainment Tonight while leaving Beverly Hills restaurant Madeo after dining with his wife's brother and a group of friends.
"Everything's good! I just had a baby girl," Bobby said in a video on the website. "I'm grateful!"
ET add that after Bobby shared the news, someone else in his group can be heard apparently revealing the tot's name is Hendrix. But Bobby has yet to confirm his daughter's moniker.
The 47-year-old star also revealed the new arrival on his Instagram page. Alongside a snap of himself beaming with pride, Bobby wrote: "Just had a baby girl 10 pounds."
Bobby and Alicia are already parents to son Cassius, born in 2009, and daughter Bohdi who celebrated her first birthday earlier this month (Jul16).
Bobby is also a father to 30-year-old Landon, 26-year-old LaPrincia, and 23-year-old Bobby Jr. His daughter with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died on 26 July (15), days after baby Bohdi was born.
Bobbi Kristina, 22, never regained consciousness from a medically-induced coma after she was found face down and unconscious in a bath tub at the Roswell, Georgia home she shared with her boyfriend Nick Gordon on 31 January, 2015.
Bobby previously opened up about the loss of Bobbi Kristina, insisting he still feels close to his little girl, while crediting his large family with helping him deal with his grief.
"I've gained another angel to carry me through," he told America's WBLS radio host Deja Vu. "I'm really blessed with my children and everything that I have to do is about that. It's about love. I have a lot of love around me and have a lot of love that I give. It's about that."
He started dating Alicia in 2007 and the pair wed in June 2012.
