Kate Bosworth wed Michael Polish yesterday.
The actress and director tied the knot in Philipsburg, Montana, on Saturday. The ceremony was held at The Ranch at Rock Creek, with the nuptials taking place outside.
According to Us Weekly, between 50 and75 of the couple’s friends and family gathered to watch them exchange vows on a mountain top.
Kate is said to have arrived in a horse-drawn stage coach and opted for a traditional wedding dress boasting a large train. Her hair was styled in an up do so all focus was on her face.
To add some fun to proceedings there were Polaroid cameras, with guests asked to take pictures and add them to a memory board with the message “Love Is…” written on it.
No further details of the wedding or reception are currently known.
Kate and Michael met while there were shooting the 2011 movie Big Sur and he proposed during a holiday in August last year.
“I never even dated my husband-to-be," she recently told British InStyle magazine. "He said to me after just a few weeks before we were even together, 'I'm going to marry you.' He just knew."
Michael is over a decade older than 30-year-old Kate, but she has previously insisted the age gap is of no importance to them.
“There are so many things that just clicked for us. It’s like, what didn’t draw us together?” she explained to The Edit magazine.
“It feels as if we have known each other our whole lives, even though he is 12 years older than me. But it feels like he’s been there every step of the way. And he is a great mentor to me, artistically.”
