Brad Pitt calls parenting into question
Brad Pitt has laughed about his son playing an ill-fated zombie in his new movie World War Z.
The hunk is currently promoting the zombie thriller World War Z, which also features his 11-year-old son Maddox. Brad was happy to laugh about allowing his child to appear in a more grisly scene for the movie.
"My kids love these kinds of things and that's the thing that first drew me to it,” Brad said at the New York premiere of World War Z on Monday night. "[Maddox] has got a small piece in it. He's a zombie who then gets shot. I don't know what that says about my parenting!"
Brad’s co-star Abigail Hargrove also spoke about Maddox’s work on the film. She was impressed by his commitment to his role, even when it meant transforming his appearance.
“I remember one day he was talking to his dad, Brad, and I remember him talking about how he had to shave off his Mohawk because he had to play one of the zombies and I was like, 'No! Not the Mohawk!'” Abigail laughed. “But he was very excited to be a zombie. Definitely."
Brad went on to speak about his fiancée Angelina Jolie, who underwent a preventative double mastectomy earlier this year. He was full of praise for his partner’s decision to reduce her risk of getting cancer by having the surgery, and says his feelings for the beauty are stronger than ever.
"She has always been the brave, bold individual that I fell for – and sexy as ever," he smiled.
Brad was then quizzed about his impending nuptials. The Hollywood stars, who raise six children together, are reportedly planning to wed this summer.
However, the 49-year-old star refused to be drawn on the rumours.
"Ha, Ha,” Brad replied to People when asked about the nuptials. “I'm movin' on, man. I'm moving on!"
