Bradley Cooper was reportedly baffled by which fork to use when he attended a benefit at London’s Buckingham Palace earlier this week.

The 40-year-old actor attended a benefit at London’s royal residence alongside girlfriend Irina Shayk, 29, at the close of May.

The event, hosted by Prince Charles to raise money for his Charitable Foundation, saw guests treated to a lavish feast and entertainment from tenor singer Joseph Calleja and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

But Bradley was apparently baffled by which of the silverware he should use for the meal.

According to Us Weekly, Russian model Irina was overheard telling friends about the couple’s cutlery confusion as she went to dinner at the celebrity favourite Chiltern Firehouse earlier this week.

Bradley and Irina started dating at the end of April and have been seen enjoying a host of romantic nights out ever since.

Sources say it’s the combination of the pair’s passion for each other and their intellectual compatibility that is making their romance such a success.

“Irina is smart and mature. They have a great connection,” a source close to Bradley told Us Weekly. “Bradley needs a girl who can keep up with him.”

Irina, who can often be seen strutting her stuff for Victoria's Secret, is no stranger to dating an A-lister. Her five-year relationship with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo came to an end over the festive season, with Irina confirming the news in January.

Meanwhile, Bradley’s relationship with actress-and-model Suki Waterhouse came to an end in March after two years together.
