Bradley Cooper: Hangover III is wild

Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper has joked that the next Hangover movie will be "explosive".

The Hollywood star is reprising his role as Phil for The Hangover Part III. Stills from the film were recently released and director Todd Phillips has revealed the final instalment will focus on Zach Galifianakis' character Alan. The characters are returning to Las Vegas where the first movie was set, and there are rumours Phil will try to break Alan out of a mental institution.

Bradley insists Hangover fans won't be disappointed by the new film.

"I would say explosive is the right word, it is yeah. We just wrapped three days ago," he told UK TV show Daybreak. "It comes out on Memorial Day at the end of May."

The Hangover Part III sees the franchise come to a conclusion. Although there are no plans to make any other movies in the series, Bradley insists he would love to play his charismatic character again.

"I would do it," he smiled, when asked if there will be ever be a sixth instalment of the franchise. "But it's done for now."

The 37-year-old star was also quizzed on how he feels about Channing Tatum recently being named Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. Bradley topped the list last year, but the actor is relieved to have passed the crown on to someone else. In fact, he doesn't understand why people are still so interested in his feelings on the subject.

"It's over, Channing Tatum has it now. I wouldn't say I have lost, but OK, did I ever win it?" Bradley laughed. "But no it is over… and people are still talking about it."

The Hangover Part III - also starring Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Heather Graham, Mike Tyson, John Goodman and Melissa McCarthy - is slated for worldwide release in May 2013.
