Bradley Cooper cried when he read Romeo and Juliet for a college class.
The star was briefly married to Jennifer Esposito between 2006 and 2007 and has dated Renée Zellweger and Jennifer Lopez more recently. He is now thought to have reignited his relationship with Zoe Saldana and firmly believes there is a perfect person in the world for everyone.
Bradley has always been romantic and can vividly remember the effect a love story by playwright William Shakespeare had on him when he was a student.
"I believe in love at first sight and this is going to sound cheesy, but I remember taking a Shakespeare class in college where we had to read Romeo and Juliet. I'd read it in high school, but not properly and I remember sitting in the library reading it and thinking, 'Hmm, this is weird, I'm crying,'" he told more! magazine.
Bradley tried to laugh off queries about how much he "sobbed" when looking over the text. He insists there was a less impressive reason why he shed so many tears.
"I was probably really crying because it's the easiest play to understand and I was thinking about how after that I was going to have to get through Hamlet and Twelfth Night," he giggled.
