Geri Halliwell's feelings for Russell Brand have reportedly "petered out a tad."
The British comedian and former Spice Girls star are rumoured to be dating after they fell head over heels for each other at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
Although the pair appeared besotted initially, it is now assumed that Geri is being more cautious about her romantic involvement with Russell.
"[Russell and Geri agreed to a] cooling down period," a source told British newspaper The Mirror.
"Geri was smitten but things have petered out a tad."
Apparently Geri wants more than just a fling.
The singer is interested in establishing a serious commitment.
"He isn't ready to settle down so soon after coming out of marriage [with Katy Perry], whereas Geri is probably more ready to have a relationship," the source explained.
"She wants a pad and spent Saturday dragging Russell around properties near Devon. It probably seemed a little much.
"Russell is a huge flirt and Geri won't stand for any nonsense - her friends are telling her not to get serious about him."
