Brandon Routh's first child will reportedly be a boy.
The Superman Returns star announced in March that his wife Courtney Ford is pregnant.
According to celebuzz.com, the couple are expecting a son.
The pair reportedly "set up a registry for Baby Routhford" at high-end baby boutique Bel-Bambini in Los Angeles recently.
Items including "blue and white organic onesies, plus booties, bibs and burp sets" have apparently already been purchased by friends and family.
Brandon - who married Courtney in November 2007 - revealed earlier this year that remaining tight-lipped on the happy news was tough. The actor was filming CBS pilot Partners at the time, and admitted that when people asked about his parenting plans, he tried to avoid the question.
"It's been so hard keeping the news to ourselves," he said in March. "Everyone on set keeps asking, 'Do you have kids?' and I've had to say, 'Well not yet!' It's the truth. The baby hasn't been born yet!"
