Breaking Bad stars at premiere
Bryan Cranston has led the cast of Breaking Bad at the premiere of the show's final season.
Stars shunned the usual premiere limousines to arrive in the show's familiar campervan, driven by Aaron Paul who plays Jesse Pinkman, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Celebrating the beginning of the end for the series about a chemistry teacher dying of cancer who creates and sells a super-strength crystal meth to provide for his family, the premiere featured blue meth sweets and plenty of champagne in the campervan.
As usual the cast stayed tight-lipped about the finale, but Bryan, who plays lead character Walter White, gave a hint about what would happen to his character.
He said: "He lives moment to moment. He doesn't have the luxury of retrospective thought. He's trying to stay alive."
RJ Mitte, who plays Walter White Jr, promised: "There will be no loopholes. There will be no endings that are dreams. I think the fans are going to love it. I think everyone is going to react to it very well."
Other cast members at the premiere included Anna Gunn, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Laura Fraser, Jonathan Banks and Rob Odenkirk, who were joined by series creator Vince Gilligan.
The stars raised more than 400,000 dollars for The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children by offering donors the chance to win a lift to the premiere in the famous campervan.
