Britney Spears has been engaging in flirtatious banter with "charming" Simon Cowell.
The pair are working alongside each other as judges on The X Factor USA.
Now Britney and the music mogul have taken to social networking site Twitter to make contact between shows.
"I spent the day with britney. She really is quite charming (sic)," Simon wrote.
The popstar was quick to send an enthusiastic response to Simon's flattering message.
"@SimonCowell Oh now you want to be nice! Hehe. U are quite charming yourself... today was fun ! (sic)" she cheekily replied.
And Simon isn't the only one lucky enough to enjoy some attention from the Baby One More Time singer.
A promotional video released for the TV show features Britney unwittingly flirting with a handsome hopeful.
"You have a really nice soothing sound and I wish you could wake me up in the morning," the pretty starlet gushes on the clip.
Shortly after, she started laughing and explained she was talking about the contestant's music.
The X Factor USA will hit screens in America on September 12.
