Britney Spears 'made first move on fiance'

Britney Spears

Britney Spears made the first move in her relationship - although she wants the details to remain secret.

The singer became engaged to her former agent Jason Trawick in December 2011. The pair have given a join interview to Elle magazine, in which they discuss how their love blossomed.

"It was kind of one of those things where she moved, like, turned around, so we were face-to-face and then," Jason began, before being interrupted by Britney.

"OK that's enough information, sweetie. It was sweet, just say that," she laughed.

The 30-year-old star was happier to talk about her career to date. Some aspects of her worldwide fame can be daunting, but as Britney has got older she's learnt how to deal with it.

"I guess I've been under the microscope so long that I don't even pay attention to the nonsense anymore," she said. "I gave up getting upset about things people make up about me a long time ago."

Britney has sons Sean Preston, six, and five-year-old Jayden James with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. Motherhood is the most important thing in her life and takes priority over everything - even her appearance.

"I love my jeans and my sweats - I'm really just a tomboy at heart. So it's really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian and be make-up and hair ready every time I go out of my house. I'm not a believer in that, you know?" she laughed. "When you do wear those sweats, you're like 'Oh God, I should step it up a notch.'"
