‘Broody Beckhams’

Victoria Beckham

Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly hoping she falls pregnant this year.

The fashion designer and her retired soccer star spouse already have four children, three boys and one girl. Both have been open about their desire for a big family, which has apparently grown after David discovered his sister Lynne is pregnant with baby number five.

“David’s thrilled to become an uncle again, but it’s made him and Victoria long for another child, too,” an insider told British magazine Heat. “So, the plan is that while they’re back in LA and having a relaxing summer, maybe it will happen for them again.”

David retired from professional soccer earlier this year and Victoria has spoken extensively about how great it is to have him around more. He has been seen out and about with their kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper and is enjoying family life.

Having her loved ones together has made 39-year-old Victoria realise how much her family means to her and she has apparently been broody for a while.

“Victoria and David are very keen for another child, as they love children and have made no secret of wanting to expand the Beckham brood,” the source added.

When he announced he was hanging up his soccer boots, David admitted another child could be on the cards. Victoria has also opened up about how she cares for her family, employing a chef to ensure they eat healthily at all times.

“It’s difficult juggling work, having children and having a husband who travels,” she previously said. “I do have a bit of help – I have a nanny. I can’t do it all myself.”
