Brooke Mueller ‘was not in her right mind’

Brooke Mueller was reportedly put on involuntary psychiatric hold after binging on drugs for days before her children were removed from her custody.

Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke are the parents of four-year-old twins Bob and Max. The Anger Management star also shares daughter daughters Sam, nine, and Lola, seven, with his former spouse Denise.

Brooke lost custody temporarily of her sons as she was deemed unfit to care for them.

Radar Online reports after being high on narcotics for several days she was admitted to hospital.

While there Brooke was deemed by medical professionals to be a danger to herself and others under Section 5150 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code.

This legislation forces those unfit to care for themselves to be placed under involuntary psychiatric hold.

“Brooke was taken to the medical centre on Wednesday night, after she was deemed to be a threat to herself and to others,” a source told the website.

“She had been using drugs for days and was not in her right mind. It was a very sad, sad situation.

“Once Brooke was admitted, her doctors notified the Department of Children and Family Services and action was taken by the agency immediately to get her children legally out of her care.”

Meanwhile the twins are safe under Denise’s care.

According to Us Weekly the situation “isn’t unusual” for the tykes, as they are often at Denise’s house.

"They've been under her care may times before," an insider told the magazine.

“Truthfully, Denise and [her daughters] are the only consistency those poor kids have had.

“[Denise] loves [the boys and] would never say no. She would raise 1,000 kids if she could. It's not in her nature to turn away someone in need. The girls consider the twins their siblings. This is their family and Denise would do anything for them."

Charlie agrees with the local government’s decision to place his sons with Denise.

“Charlie supports the actions of the Department of Children and Family Services,” his publicist Larry Solters told Radar.

“He knows Max and Bob are safe and in a stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys’ sisters. Charlie will fully cooperate and fully participate in all proceedings.”

Virgo:

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
