Brooklyn Beckham 'given career advice by parents'

Teenage star Brooklyn Beckham is being advised to treat women with respect by his mother Victoria, insiders report.

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Victoria and David Beckham's son Brooklyn is reportedly being urged by his parents to remain composed in the spotlight.

The teenager's star is on the rise thanks to modelling campaigns and mingling with his parents' A-list pals.

Although fashion designer Victoria and former soccer star David are said to be happy for their eldest offspring to have fun, they're rumoured to be giving the 16-year-old valuable titbits.

"Brooklyn was told if he did well in his exams, he'd be allowed a bit more freedom and he's certainly making the most of it," an insider told Britain's Closer magazine, referring to Brooklyn completing his GCSE qualifications. "But both Victoria and David have said if he wants to be taken seriously in the celeb world, he needs to remain composed and select events strategically - always thinking about his image."

This comes after Brooklyn was turned away from a party held by Wonderland magazine in London, UK, in September (15). However insiders insist he wasn't left angry by the situation, understanding that his not being 18 held him back.

On top of his attempts at attending star-studded bashes, Brooklyn has been snapped with various females as of late. He was previously linked to Hollywood actress Chloë Grace Moretz, 18, but most recently is rumoured to be romancing French beauty Sonia Ben Ammar.

But it seems his mum is worried about how this could affect his repute.

"Victoria's also drilled into him that he needs to treat women with respect and doesn't want him getting a ladies' man reputation," the insider added to Closer.

Victoria has also hit the headlines recently, and not in the best way. Following a celebration for her London boutique in September, Victoria was spotted leaving a venue with a suspicious wet patch on her crotch. The photos are said to have left the 41-year-old "mortified", especially as she didn't think anyone would notice due to her all-black outfit.
