Brown assault on video?
Chris Brown’s alleged altercation with a man in Washington, D.C. may have been captured on video.
The 24-year-old singer is facing criminal charges amid accusations he punched 20-year-old Isaac Parker in the face outside of a Washington, D.C. hotel when the man tried to photobomb a picture with another fan. Chris has denied the allegations.
TMZ reports local police are now looking for security footage which could detail exactly what happened.
Metro Police have reportedly contacted businesses near the W Hotel where the alleged incident occurred, including a restaurant next door.
Sources tell the website the U.S. Department of Treasury is located directly across the road from the hotel and as several cameras can be seen on the property. Obtaining the videos could prove difficult, however, as local authorities would have to go through the Secret Service for that footage.
Chris is currently checked into an undisclosed Los Angeles rehab facility, where he is expected to remain for the next three months for treatment of anger management issues.
His mother and his on-off girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, are said to be the only guests who will be permitted to speak with him during that time.
“Those are the only two people that Chris asked to speak to by phone before he checked in. Karrueche and Mamma J are the only ones in Chris’ corner and the two women that he knows will be by his side no matter what,” a source recently told Hollywood Life.
Chris is allegedly under tight supervision at the facility and has no internet access as doctors want him to effectively detach himself from the outside world in order to deal with his issues.
The star, who remains on probation for his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, pleaded not guilty to misdemeanour assault in the D.C. case Monday. He was also ordered to stay 100 yards away from Parker.
Chris could reportedly face up to 180 days in jail if convicted.
He could face an additional four years in prison if an investigation conducted by the Los Angeles County Probation Department determines he violated the terms of his probation.
