Bruce's tough dad plan backfires

Bruce Willis has revealed his aims to be a tough protective father to his daughters have not worked.

The Hollywood hardman and star of Die Hard had planned to scare off boys who tried to date the daughters he has with ex-wife Demi Moore - Rumer, 22, Scout, 19, and 16-year-old Tallulah - but they just laugh it off.

Bruce said: "I thought I could start throwing these young kids around and stand them up against the wall, questioning them, but my children just destroyed that notion.

"They said, 'Leave him alone, Dad. Stop, you're embarrassing us'. The next thing you know, they're all in the pool and whooping it up.

"I am so archaic at times. I'd like to think of myself as old-fashioned but there's no place for it with my three daughters. They just say I don't understand."

Bruce, 55, is enjoying his second marriage to 32-year-old British model and actress Emma Heming and revealed he has learned to lighten up.

He said: "I don't know if I'm doing anything differently. I've become a nicer person over the years. I don't take things so seriously and just fool around more. I certainly laugh more."

Taurus:

It isn't healthy to be emotionally dependent. Becoming more self reliant should be your first order of business, especially if you're in a troubled relationship. Your partner may balk at your decision to acquire new skills, get a job or accumulate property. Pay no attention to their complaints. The sooner you carve out a niche for yourself, the happier you will be. Slowly but surely, the balance of power will be restored to your union. It's time to come into your own.More
