Bullock doesn't look back

Sandra Bullock makes sure she doesn't dwell on the past.

The Blind Side actress has made various headlines during her career, some surrounding her relationships.

In 2010 she divorced American TV personality Jesse James following several claims he had cheated with different women during their almost five-year marriage.

Despite the negativity in her past, the 49-year-old star insists she has no regrets and doesn't re-examine her trials and tribulations.

"We're all where we're supposed to be. I am exactly where I want to be now. You can't go backward. I'm not going backward," she told the October issue of US Vogue magazine.

"I'm grateful that I'm here, blessed to have what I have. Nobody can be prepared for anything. If you end up in a place where you can look back and go, 'It happened, but I'm so lucky to be sitting where I am sitting...'"

Before the divorce, the couple entered a four-year adoption process with their son Louis Bardo, who Sandra now raises as a single parent.

While she is open to the prospect of having more children in the future, the brunette beauty is maintaining her 'live in the moment' outlook on life.

"I'm just sort of seeing where life goes. If all of a sudden someone said, 'You have five more kids,' I'd be totally OK with it. [At the moment] I'm having such an amazing time. Whatever comes our way, we handle as a family. It's not just me anymore," she explained.

She wants to make sure Louis is her number one priority before jumping into anything. Her mothering instinct is so strong, she would quit acting if any of her decisions had a negative effect on him.

"I think this business can take the child out of kids so quickly," she said. "I don't want him to have pressures brought on by what I do. I will quit. I will leave. If I see whatever I'm doing affecting him negatively, I will pack up and move to Alaska."
