Caitlyn Jenner for I'm a Celeb?
Caitlyn Jenner and Spencer Matthews are reportedly being sought to appear in the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The former Olympian has rarely been out of the headlines since confirming she was transitioning to become a woman while she was still known as Bruce. That was at the end of April and early in June, Caitlyn - whose ex-wife is Kris Jenner - introduced her new self to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair.
The new season of the star-studded jungle reality show is due to hit screens in November, and bosses are reportedly desperate to sign her.
"Kellie Maloney did brilliantly on Celebrity Big Brother and we think Cait will be must-see viewing in the Aussie bush. Plus we’d get some Kardashian gossip too," a show insider told British newspaper The Daily Star.
Kellie was previously known as boxing promoter Frank Maloney and appeared in the famous house last year.
Although it seems like a far-fetched plan, Caitlyn may be interested in the show. That's because Bruce was one of the stars to take part in the US TV version in 2003, coming in fourth place. That was before the family's reality programme Keeping Up with the Kardashians became a global phenomenon.
Caitlyn isn't the only star being sought by bosses though. Apparently Made in Chelsea lothario Spencer Matthews is also in talks to appear, with those in the know suggesting he'd be a great addition because he'd likely flirt with his fellow celebrities.
Spencer is thought to be hugely excited by the idea, meaning it's almost a done deal.
"Spencer is a real love-hate figure on Made in Chelsea. He’s charming and good-looking, but he’s a bit of a villain really, because he always cheats on his girlfriends and often betrays his best mates," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"On top of that, he’s incredibly posh.
“He could go on I’m a Celeb and become absolutely hated, especially if he spends his time trying to come on to anything that moves."
It's thought Spencer was being lined up for the programme last year, but had other commitments so it didn't work out.
