Cameron Diaz is getting along well with the pet cheetah on The Counselor set.
The actress stars alongside Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender in the thriller written by author Cormac McCarthy. Cameron portrays Malkina in the film, a woman who sleeps in bed with the spotted African cat.
While filming at palatial mansion Skywood House in rural Denham, Middlesex, England the cheetah would often roam free.
Now Cameron reportedly has the beast under her thumb.
"When Cameron first started working with the cheetah it was strutting about like it owned the place. But now she's wearing the trousers," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"It has taken a shine to her, which is good because they've had to shoot a number of scenes together, including a set-up where they shared a bed. The specialist animal handlers have been close by in case the cheetah gets a bit carried away."
Apparently producers are worried about keeping the animal under control.
The cheetah could cause extensive damage.
"The building is pristine and the furniture is worth a lot of money, so the potential is there for it to do a lot of damage," the source said.
