Camila Alves has revealed that she was never the kind of girl who wanted to rush up the aisle.
The Brazilian beauty is now married to one of the hunkiest men in Hollywood, Matthew McConaughey, and is expecting their third baby.
But she told Access Hollywood Live that it wasn't until she tied the knot in June that she understood the significance.
"I did not know how important marriage was and how really truly special it was until I went through the ceremony," the 29-year-old said.
"I was never the girl growing up that said, 'I want to get married.' I actually told my parents, 'Don't expect me to get married.' We both come from divorced parents. Both of our parents got divorced and got back together, twice!"
Camila admitted that she wasn't planning on having another baby so soon but she's delighted.
"I was trying to push back as much as I could, but it was time," she said. "This baby was ready to come. The main thing to me is to make sure our home is peaceful, that it's healthy and that the kids are good."
The couple announced in June that they were adding to their brood which already includes; Levi, four, and Vida, two.
