Naomi Campbell is struggling to quit smoking, but is determined to succeed as she's bored of going outside to light up.

The British supermodel has decided to kick her nicotine habit once and for all, after many years spent puffing away on cigarettes.

Despite her stunning looks and ever youthful skin, Naomi has been open about her vices and has often been photographed smoking.

She's now kicking it to the curb, with the help of nicotine patches.

"People told me that cigarettes are harder to quit than alcohol. I didn’t believe it, but you know what? It is harder," she told Shape magazine.

"I'm not someone who wants to light up inside people's homes, including my own, and I don't want to stand outside on street corners anymore."

Naomi stopped drinking when she realised that living without alcohol made her happier.

But the 43-year-old beauty is finding smoking a much tougher problem to tackle.

"It's still a struggle. In fact, just talking about it makes me crave one, so let's stop, please! But I am really trying," she said.

Alongside the article are also stunning new pictures of Naomi.

The model, who began her career after she was scouted at the age of 15, looked sultry, posing in a black swimsuit with zip detail.

In another shot, Naomi wears black high-waited briefs and a white crop top, while gazing into the camera.

Naomi is currently gracing the small screen as a judge on the Australian version of The Face.

She is joined by Cheyenne Tozzi and Nicole Trunfio to help find the hottest new talent in the modelling world.

Naomi is well known for her fiery temper and has already had a cross exchange of words with fellow mentor Nicole, and took to her Twitter account to air her views.

"Nicole, have some respect. I have been here before you, I have been here during you and I will be here after you. #TeamNaomi #TheFaceAU (sic)," Naomi posted to her followers.
